tomas concept & creation
Vincent van Gogh’s work and life has been a deep impression for people around the world for decades. Also in the Brabant family Snels, formerly living in the beautiful Brabant villages Waalre, Hilvarenbeek and Drunen. The passion was transferred from parent to child. Tomas, multidisciplinary designer, would like to apply this in the daily work and in his own product concepts.
Van Gogh Brabant
Vincent van Gogh was born and formed in Brabant during the first phase of his life. All of this is shared by the foundation ‘Van Gogh Brabant’ in a passionate way, nationally and internationally. Van Gogh Brabant is making every effort to secure the minds and cultural history and make it accessible to future generations.
Van Gogh Quality Label
This label guarantees the quality of a ‘Vincent van Gogh’ product. It ensures that the maker cares more than average for the quality of the product itself and strives for a minimal impact on the environment and nature during production. The product was conceived and developed in Brabant – with attention to craftsmanship and craft. It uses Van Gogh’s work in a thoughtful way to tell the story of Van Gogh. And with part of the proceeds the maker contributes to retaining and sharing the cultural heritage of Vincent van Gogh in Brabant, now, later and in the distant future. Cycling through a painting
The Brabant life and its landscape form the basis of the work by Vincent van Gogh. His love for the simple folk, the countryside and the farmland; it all started in this wonderful province, which you can best discover by bike, for example the famous Van Gogh-Roosegaarde cycle path.
